Overview
Alastair has leadership experience that is riven with authenticity in the trenches after over 5 years as a CEO of a national charity, facilitating leadership support and development.
He has been developing business leadership teams from large household names to small businesses, using his leadership experience, humour and approachable manner to inspire and inform growth.
With his sci-tech background, having a DPhil in Chemical Physics, he has insight into leading technical companies and combines that through a relatable manner. He builds strong rapport from team leaders and operational managers to senior leadership teams / C-Suite.
As an accredited member of the Association for Coaching he has supported directors to turn around companies in construction, science and technology, as well as coaching ‘heads of’ in hospitality and online businesses.
In his role as consultant, Alastair has designed and delivered leadership and management programmes at middle and senior management levels for a wide range of clients, with an MA in community education and as an experienced ILM certified facilitator.
Alastair is based in Manchester and works across the country, often with clients in London and Brighton.

- Helping a senior leadership team reposition their business and culture after a private equity buy out.
- Supporting the director of a construction company through a period of growth and transition to deliver significant change in the business.
- Design and delivery of bespoke leadership programmes, helping to grow boards and teams with the MD, such as embedding a coaching approach into their operational practice.
- Led a UK National Youth Work Charity for 5½ years as CEO through a time of significant change into a new structure with planned succession.
- Designed and led a National Training Development Strategy for the UK’s 2nd largest charity (youthwork) and as a result was invited to represent the sector in government.
