The best way of supporting the organisation is very often to support the individual.
There are times when an HR professional needs support on a one-to-one basis. That might mean coaching from a qualified external coach or it might mean mentoring by a highly experienced HR professional.

If mentoring would be more appropriate, then Paul would be happy to act as a mentor to an HR professional, especially one going through a particularly important career transition or faced with a challenging issue, perhaps around influence or internal politics.
