Maximum Performance: Our people
Founded in 1998, Maximum Performance is a ‘boutique’ management development consultancy. We are totally focused on improving management, team and leadership effectiveness at the behavioural and organisational level, with measurable results in the workplace.
We work with a wide range of organisations across the private, public and voluntary sectors. Most of our work is in the design and delivery of structured development programmes which use innovative tools and engaging learning techniques, often complemented by one-to-one coaching. Increasingly, however, we also find ourselves providing consultancy advice on such subjects as performance management, competency frameworks, employee engagement, training needs analysis, development of L&D teams, use of social media for L&D, etc, etc, etc – in other words, anything that contributes to improving the performance of individuals, teams and organisations.
The wider team
Amanda is a highly experienced coach and facilitator specialising in providing leadership coaching, management development programmes and facilitation services to the public, private and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sectors. Her work in the public sector, in particular, includes running facilitation sessions, focus groups, team development, personal effectiveness skills training, customer service training, performance management training, and specialist leadership and management programmes.
Andy is a passionate learning professional with over 20 years of experience in the world of corporate learning. As a qualified practitioner of the ‘Performance Consulting’ approach he specialises in identifying learning needs. Candy is a highly experienced trainer whose business ethos was formed early in her career. It rests on two main principles – first, that each encounter with every customer counts, to enhance either sales or reputation. This is coupled with the notion that the best route to business development is through good communication by positive, confident people. The overall purpose of her training is ‘Putting a Smile on the Customer Interface’.
David has extensive global experience of consultancy in leadership and talent development, team dynamics and learning programme direction across a range of industries. He believes passionately in the value of continuous learning and development as a significant contributor to business performance. Geoff is an author, a plain-speaking academic and a very successful business development coach. He became interested in non-verbal communication after several clients wanted him to explore how ‘body language’ influenced their management effectiveness and business success.
Justine Ballard believes that there’s no right or wrong way to have presence, it’s about acknowledging what makes you special and then demonstrating the best of you. Justine will help you to be clear about the impact you want to have and the actions that will help you shine. She is experienced in helping a wide range of leaders and managers develop their strengths and enhance their performance, personal impact and professional presence.
Paul is an enthusiastic trainer and coach with extensive experience of writing and delivering financial, business and negotiation skills training courses for private and public sector clients in the UK and overseas. He is a seasoned finance professional with more than twenty years ‘sharp-end’ experience as Finance Director of global media, publishing and retail companies. He has board level experience in high growth businesses and companies managing change, evolving market channels and supply chains. He is also an experienced consultant and adviser to small and medium sized businesses.
Rosanne has over twenty years’ experience working in Human Resources in blue-chip companies and in the public sector as an HR Manager, a trainer and a coach. She has worked at a strategic level within organisations and also has extensive operational experience. She now runs her own consultancy practice and brings enthusiasm, pragmatism and a real understanding of the challenges facing organisations today. Read more HERE.
Scott is a Lead Consultant at Maximum Performance. A very experienced and enthusiastic international trainer, facilitator and coach, he relishes the opportunity to help managers succeed in their roles and careers. His prime aim is to encourage managers to get the best out of their people by understanding how they want to be managed and what motivates each individual. Will has a psychology background. He focuses on ‘Helping people work together’ which for the past twenty years has meant running his own consultancy specialising in management, communication and team skills. He is particularly adept at using experiential team tasks as a vehicle for addressing effectiveness issues, whether in his many ‘Away Day’ events for blue-chip clients or as part of his classroom-based training sessions.
