Happy birthday to us!

At Maximum Performance, we’re celebrating our 25th anniversary – that’s a quarter century of providing high-quality business training and coaching services.

In all that time, our mission has been to help improve the performance of individuals, teams and organisations. But if “mission” sounds a bit dry, let’s be clear, it’s a mission we’re passionate about! And 25 years into that mission is a good moment to reflect on the journey so far.

 

It all begin in…

Since our beginnings as a training provider in 1997, the world has changed. From an age in which face to face ‘classroom’ training courses were still the norm, through the rise and mainstreaming of e-learning, the use of learning apps and other technology, not to mention sessions with actors and the recent boom in remote and virtual participation.

On the Maximum Performance team, we pride ourselves on our flexibility and adaptability, and after 25 years, our range of development programmes, workshops, learning interventions, and expertise has grown to include:

What’s more, in our first quarter century, we’ve used our team’s expertise to create some really outstanding – and well-received – development programmes. A few highlights would include the Inspiring Leader programme and the Management Development programme (both ILM-recognised) and our GREAT Customer Service suite of programmes.

 

Working with you to deliver what you need

That’s a quick glimpse of what we’ve done, but we’re also very proud of how we’ve done it. We have plenty of standard courses and modules that are the foundation of Maximum Performance, but what we offer is far more than just ‘off the shelf’. Everything we deliver can (and often is) tailored to the specific business needs of a team or organisation. Everything can be delivered either face to face or remotely. Even other languages are no barrier – we’ve delivered our Management Development programme all over the world, in a variety of languages from Spanish to Mandarin, Polish to Brazilian Portuguese, and a dozen or so others.

 

Facts & figures

There may be 25 candles on the cake, but we could count our history in others ways:

140 trainers and facilitators working with 900 client companies to deliver 10,000+ workshops in 60 different countries supporting 100,000+ participants with their development and skills.

That would be a lot of candles!

 

The secret of our success

In reality, there is no great secret. What we can say is that over the past 25 years we’ve seen numerous business challenges (not least, in recent years, Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic) that we have navigated thanks to our culture of flexibility, adaptability, customer focus, and our committed team plus supportive management and leadership.

You could say, we practice what we preach.  😉

Looking to the future

Twenty-five years is a long time and a lot can change. If Maximum Performance has a single superpower perhaps it’s that we listen to our clients – really listen, and adapt what we do and how we do to give them the maximum support and expertise possible. And it wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated and passionate team (maybe we have two superpowers!)

But the journey has only begun, and the road has many more challenges in store. The recent, pandemic-driven popularity of virtual courses and remote coaching is a good example (for a free taster, we have an ongoing series of bite-sized, free webinars on a wide range of topics) but who knows what else the future holds!? Whatever comes, we’re looking forward to tackling it with you.
