Maximum Coaching is a brand of Maximum Performance. Founded in 1998, Maximum Performance is a ‘boutique’ management development consultancy. Our work is mainly with large organisations, in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, developing and delivering programmes which use innovative tools and engaging learning techniques.
Our programmes are heavily bespoke, built on the insight and awareness we establish with each organisation we work with.
We are passionate about performance, and totally focused on improving management, team and leadership effectiveness at the behavioural and organisational level, with measurable results in the workplace.

Alastair has always enjoyed working with individuals to understand their motivations and aspirations, their strengths and the blockers to their success. Angela spent 20 years supporting individual and organisational learning, communication and change in the civil service, posts as Head of Internal Communications in the Food Standards Agency, Head of Change Communications and Culture Change in Defra, and latterly as Head of Talent Development in the Department of Health.
Since 2011, she has worked as an independent consultant and as an associate for a number of respected consultancies as well as Maximum Coaching, such as the Hay Group, Capita Resourcing and the i-coach academy where she is a faculty member, teaching on their post-graduate Coaching Certification Programme. Trained by the Centre for Stress Management in Cognitive Behavioural Approaches to Counselling and Therapy, Clare completed coaching training with the Institute for Leadership and Management, and continued training with Master Executive Coach Elizabeth Ferguson. She is now pulling her portfolio together for credentialing by the International Coaching Federation as an Associate Certified Coach. Read more HERE.
Janet brings to her leadership development and coaching practice extensive experience in management, leadership and organisational development both in the UK and internationally. She has worked as a senior leader and executive board member in a demanding commercial environment. She provides development and coaching to individuals and teams who are working to enhance their performance or develop their capability to meet changing business demands and expectations. Her expertise is in developing people, leading teams and working at board level with listed FTSE 350 and Fortune companies; driving revenues, business change and growth through client advocacy and aligning the people and talent strategy with organisational strategy. Tariq’s career has seen him work in 25 different countries and across sectors ranging from regulated industries to digital start-ups. He has held roles such as: HR Director, London Business School; Divisional HR Director, RSA (UK / W Europe); and VP HR, VISA (London / Dubai / Moscow / Johannesburg). He has extensive experience in developing talent, building engaged workforces and delivering business change, including leading the people work-stream in the largest IPO in US history. Read more HERE
